GRANNYS GIFTS

Here's an idea for elderly relatives/friends who have just about everything and you don't know what to buy them! I got the idea from a friend who used to manage a residential home as she sometimes gives cards for presents, mainly because some residents don't find it easy to get out to buy cards and have to rely on relatives to get them. (sometimes the same relative that has to buy them!!)

I bought a gift box and then filled it with 6 gift cards with various greetings, a bookmark, a calendar and a book of postage stamps.

I used:

Stamps: The Art of Life (retired-sorry!), Oh So Lovely (sorry also retired), Sincere Salutations, Pocket Silhouettes and Sanded (all available to buy from current catalogue)

Card: Mellow Moss, Elegant Eggplant, Pale Plum and Whisper White.

Inks: Mellow Moss, Elegant Eggplant and Pale Plum

Accessories: 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch (for calendar), Small Tag Punch and Tag Punch for bookmark, Elegant Eggplant Ribbon & Moss Gingham Ribbon. Also calendar bought separately.

I got the idea for the calendar from Abi Bundy my upline. Please see my blog for another posting showing the calendar in more detail and in a different colour.
